Shipping information

 General Shipping Guidelines 
We ship our products from our Chicago IL facility (zip code 60612).  We always provide tracking number with our shipments as part of the confirmation process.  We request delivery confirmation from the carrier on all our shipments. We will always be happy to send you a replacement product if your purchase was damaged during shipping.  However, we are not responsible for any damage to the product after it's been delivered and confirmed by the carrier (for example if the package was left outside by the front door and was found by a resourceful squirrel).   


Delivery Timelines for Businesses and Residences
 We ship via USPS and FedEx.  Most orders are shipped within 24 hours.  FedEx delivers Mon-Fri unless Saturday delivery is requested (additional charges apply).  Deliveries occur between 7am-7pm. USPS delivers Mon-Sat.  Delivery occurs during the normal mail delivery times. 

International orders
 Please call us at 312-224.8590, 9am-5pm cst or emal at customer-service@dasfoods.com to inquire about international orders.  We are happy to ship internationally. Additional shipping charges will apply.  Please note that we're unable to process international credit cards, but can provide PayPal invoice and process payment via PayPal.

All orders will be processed within 24 hours.  Please note that in order to ensure the best possible product, orders cannot ship over the weekend so for Standard shipments, your package may be held until the following Monday to ensure minimal time in transit.


Caramel Shipping
All caramels are shipped via either USPS 1st class or USPS Priority (during winter and early spring) and via USPS Priority in the late Spring, Summer and Autumn. 
Express shipping is available (extra charge applies).
Our caramels typically do not melt during shipping

Lollipop shipping
We ship our lollipops via USPS 1st Class or USPS priority.  Our lollipops are not affected by warm weather.

Macaroon Shipping
All Macaroons are shipped via FedEx overnight to preserve quality and ensure high food safety standards we maintain in our facility and with each of our products.   
FedEx standard overnight charges range between $30-$35 for packages up to 2 lb.  Prices are subject to change as per carrier's price fluctuations

Pup-C Dog Treats shipping
Pup-c Dog treats are shipped via either USPS 1st class or USPS Priority.  The product is not sensitive to temperature changes during shipping.

Das Salt and Das Blends- Gourmet Cooking and Finishing Salts shipping
Our salts are shipped via either USPS 1st class or USPS Priority.  These products are not sensitive to temperature changes during shipping.

We would like to ensure that you are completely satisfied with your purchase.  If your experience with our products is unsatisfactory for any reason, please email or call us and we will do our best to either refund or replace your purchase.
